Shot at Pinewood Studios, this filmed stage version starring Glenn Carter and Rik Mayall captures one of the best scores Andrew Lloyd Webber has ever written and is
First saw this version at a Jesus Christ Superstar meet and greet with some of the cast here in NJ a few months ago. The French release is a MUCH better version than the original American release on Blu ray. The picture is sharper and audio also seems to be remastered, as there is much less hiss and its a bit fuller in the bottom end.
